Louisiana’s Second Circuit Court of Appeal recently adopted an order suspending all appellate filing deadlines which occur between September 6, 2021, and September 24, 2021. Any party who has a filing deadline which falls between those dates has a new deadline of September 27, 2021. Oral arguments will remain on schedule. This order follows the emergency order of the Governor which contains similar provisions.
